Supporting St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center

At Blue Rock Coffee Roasters, the connection between our coffee and our love for animals runs deeper than the names on our bags.

Over time, we’ve had the opportunity to support organizations doing meaningful work for animals and the people who care for them, including St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center.

A longstanding commitment to animal welfare.

For more than 80 years, St. Hubert’s has been dedicated to helping animals in need, regardless of species, size, or temperament.

Their work is rooted in a community-based approach that recognizes every animal as an individual, while also supporting the families and environments they’re part of.

Supporting both pets and people.

A key part of St. Hubert’s mission is helping animals stay with their families whenever possible.

They offer programs such as:

  • Pet food banks

  • Vaccine clinics

  • Emergency pet boarding

These services provide practical support during challenging times and help prevent unnecessary separation between pets and their owners.

Expanding impact beyond the local community.

St. Hubert’s impact extends well beyond a single location.

Through their WayStation program, they have helped transport thousands of animals from areas with limited resources to communities where adoption opportunities are greater.

Their Give Back program supports partner shelters by reinvesting resources into communities that are working to address the root causes of pet overpopulation.

A shared sense of care.

Organizations like St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center reflect a level of care and commitment that resonates with us.

It’s thoughtful, consistent work that often happens behind the scenes but makes a lasting difference.

How it connects to what we do.

For us, supporting organizations like St. Hubert’s is one of the ways we stay connected to something beyond the coffee itself.

It’s a small extension of the same care that inspired our roasts in the first place.
