From the Sidama region of Ethiopia
Ethiopia, the birthplace of coffee, is home to some of the world’s most celebrated growing regions, including Sidama. Known for its vibrant character and layered complexity, Sidama’s got rhythm, and Midnight’s Dark Roast captures it beautifully.
Grown at elevations between 1,500 and 2,200 meters, the coffee cherries ripen slowly in cool mountain temperatures, allowing their natural sweetness and complexity to develop.
Rich soil, abundant rainfall, and careful cultivation contribute to the vibrant character Sidama coffees are known for. The region’s later harvest season also allows the cherries to mature fully, producing the layered aromas and bright flavors that make these coffees so celebrated around the world.
